About Us
JRTwine Software is a privately held Limited Liability Company (LLC) organized in, and registered with, the state of New Hampshire. The company was first organized in 2002, for the purposes of retail/commercial software development.
In time we also expanded our services to include software development consulting and contract work. Throughout the years we have gained access to many highly-experienced software developers, designers and architects that can tackle any size task, ranging from a simple console application, to data modeling and logical design of a database, to the architecture and design of a scalable n-tiered client/server system.
What We Do
We can help you with all development phases a software project, including architecture, design, and implementation. We have experience with a variety of development languages and platforms including C/C++, Java, and C#/.NET, SQL, and cloud-based technologies.
Principals
The president (AKA chief architect and bottle washer) of the company is James R. Twine, who began his love of software at the age of 12 when he starting writing simple games and utility programs on a VIC-20 computer in BASIC. Throughout the years, James has worked on a variety of software projects, on a variety of platforms, in a variety of areas, including gaming/games, defense, financial services, GUI components, databases and client/server systems.
As well as managing the day-to-day operations of the company, James is also the chief strategist for future product development.
Where we deliver
Thanks to the power and reach of the Internet, we can (and do!) provide services around the globe, as well as locally. We have extensive experience with working from a remote locations (telecommuting) and have the infrastructure necessary to be able to concentrate and work uninterrupted from developer-specific locations.
Giving Back
JRTwine Software has always supported sharing of information and code in the interest of improvement the world of software development.
Principals of JRTwine Software have authored articles, provided code, and assisted others in the software development community, on sites like The Code Project.
Most recently, we have created and released a console gaming component for the XNA development framework, which is available at http://xnacc.codeplex.com.
Mentoring
One of our strengths is the ability to help other developers reach their full potential. By establishing and maintaining relationships with junior developers, we can help them grow and develop superior, more robust software solutions in less time.
